Mintbook Digital Library is implemented at SIBSTC for imparting training to staffs from 22 Banks in India. The project is envisaged for education and training in banking operations and management to the officials of the member banks. Digital Library provides the access of digital contents to the employees of South Indian Bank from different locations. The users can access the online digital library using any digital media like Desktops, Laptops and Mobile phones by connecting to internet. Mintbook digital library equipped with 1000+ eBooks, audios and videos in English and other regional language. E-Content on various subjects including HR, Economics, Finance, Business, Marketing, Leadership and Soft Skills, Leisure Reads, Magazines, Concept Videos, etc. Data Analytics is used to access and provide useful or sought after content in the digital library. It also helps is measuring the reading quotient among users.


This project has helped in knowledge and skill development of employees in a collaborative way especially for the operational staffs of smaller banks associated with SIBTC. Mintbook’s Online Digital Library put information at employees’ fingertips, no matter where they are. The library can be access by multiple people at the same time. The project provided access to e-content from diverse and distributed digital repositories in different subject disciplines. Digital materials made accessible to the employees throughout the day. This made it possible for employees to learn the subject at their own pace and in comfortable settings.
